The Summer Cinema experience is all about getting away from dark theatres and finding somewhere outdoorsy and social to watch your favourite movies.

Moonlight Cinema in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth has a huge program with a mix of old and new, Starlight Cinema serves up silver screen sensations in north Sydney for the tenth consecutive year, and Sunset Cinema have something for everyone in Canberra and Wollongong. Melbourne has Ben & Jerry’s OpenAir Cinemas on offer, while Sydney gets Summer Nights Cinema, Flickerfest, St George Open Air Cinema, and Open Air Cinema: Bondi and Movies By the Boulevard - just be careful you're not spoilt for choice! Gold Coast City Council’s Movies Under the Stars promises hit after hit, as does Summer Night Flicks in the Hunter Valley, Films on the Big Screen in Wodonga, and across the country catch Movies Under the Denmark Stars in Denmark.

Enjoy a film with a view, looking over the city at Rooftop Cinema in Melbourne, one of the bar based moonlight cinemas, like Summer Movie Nights at The Beresford in Sydney. Enjoy a tipple at Moonlight Movie Season, screening at the Shaw Vineyard Estate in Murrumbateman, and Movies at Cape Mentelle, a picturesque vineyard in Margaret River.

Flix in the Stix is a huge regional film tour, travelling to Armidale, Bowral, Canberra, Dubbo, Orange, Wagga Wagga, Bendigo, Gladstone, Riverina, Rockhampton, Ballarat and Tamworth, with bonus entertainment provided in song form from The Whitlams.
