Amanda Palmer reschedules Australian tour dates
Amanda Palmer, who recently postponed or cancelled shows around the world for tours this year and in 2013, has announced the new dates for her Australian tour.
You gotta hand it to the woman - the postponement/cancellation announcement came off the back of hearing her long-time best friend had cancer and is scheduled to undergo surgery with no promise of the desired outcome - but she's still managed to organise her diary so you can take care of yours.
The new tour dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth will take place in September. Unfortunately, the Byron Bay gig had to be cancelled, but them's the breaks when cancer shows up to ruin everyone's fun.
Byron, your refunds will occur automatically. Everyone else, if you need a refund, contact the people you purchased the ticket from. If you still wish to attend, your January/Februrary tickets maintain validity for the September shows, and there's no need to repurchase anything.
