Trevor is more than just an ideal. Trevor is a music festival. A very cool music festival. Trevor is a collection of 3000 like-minded individuals all looking for more than just an amazing music experience.
Trevor is the feeling you get in finding an old box of polaroids, full of summer fun and familiar faces. It's about getting up for a quick dance and not sitting down again. It's the sticky carpet at your local and the familiar smell of the band room. It's a celebration of everything you have ever loved about music, friends, family and food.
Trevor: a music festival (here-in just Trevor) is taking everything you love about all the other music festivals and rolling them into one tight little boutiquey day filled with music, mates, pretty bunting, picnic blankets and all things awesome.
There's a little bit of Trevor in all of us. He's in our homes, our hearts and our minds, but when Trevor wants to party, he heads for Churchill Island, just off Phillip Island - that's right, an island off an island... off an island!
Like an old school summer holiday, Trevor loves the drive from your place to Phillip Island. Sweaty vinyl bench seats in a car that's choka-block with banana lounges, beach towels and the black and white portable telly.
And just like the way Mum and Dad would deck out the annex, Trevor is decked out with all the essentials; the most delicious food, the very coldest of drinks and even a marquee for his besties. Coz that's just the sort of bloke Trevor is.
Most of all, Trevor is a family man, he loves kids and has made sure that if you bring yours, they'll be entertained, fed, watered and exhausted by the end of the day, and best of all, if your kid is under 12, they get all this for free!
Kids receive a show-bag on entry with a massive armful of vouchers, gifts and miscellaneous stuff to keep them going all day.
There will be a huge array of things for the kids to do. Our great mates from Tipi Kata are coming along with a huge tepee full of great kids activities. Not to mention your ticket to Trevor gets you access to the heritage farm. And there will probably be a jumping castle. The list goes on and on and on.
The moral of the story is that kids are part of the big picture for Trevor.
So that's Trevor. Yet he's so much more. Trevor is complicated. Yet quite straightforward. Trevor is understated. Trevor is quietly assured. More Melbourne than Sydney.
Trevor is a scuffed pair of Blundstones more than a polished pair of RMs.
More like a brother than a boyfriend.
Everybody loves Trevor.
