The Garden of Unearthly Delights is Adelaide's very own festival playground. Presenting some of the hottest shows in the Fringe and enticing audiences with her gorgeous outdoor bars and cafes, carnival rides and fabulous free outdoor entertainment, The Garden is a must for all!

Located in Rundle Park on the corner of East Terrace and Rundle Road, The Garden 2008 season runs from 15 February to 15 March 2008. Our fabulous performance venues include TWO antique European theatre tents: The Bosco Theater and Le Cascadeur, our beautiful red bigtop: The Umbrella Revolution, the comedy nerve centre: The Garden Shed and The Pod, groove-central: SoCo Cargo and The Puppet Palace.

Program highlights include Arj Barker (USA), Jimeoin, Tom Tom Club, Camille O’Sullivan (UK), Kate Miller-Heidke, Empress Stah (UK), Laughapalooza, Show Us Ya Tiddas, Charlie Pickering, Lawrence Leung Learns To Breakdance, Bill Hicks: Slight Return (UK), Meow Meow, The Grease Lightnin’ Drag Show, Tripod, Ali McGregor, Abbie Cardwell, Old Man River, Stephen Cummings, Claire Hooper, Justin Hamilton in 3 Colours Hammo, 2007 Melbourne Comedy Festival best newcomer Josh Thomas and much much more.

In 2008 we are pleased to introduce our new outdoor venue – The Bandstand. Each night at 5.30pm BankSA will present a free concert on The Bandstand showcasing fabulous bands and sparkling performances. There will also be free family concerts at 3.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

On Fringe Family Weekend (1 and 2 March 2008), The Garden will be throwing the doors open early and offering free family fun all day. Over these two days we are holding a Global and Local Kids Fundraising Weekend to raise money for a variety of kids charities. Entry to The Garden on 1 and 2 March will be by voluntary gold coin donation. We encourage you to bring the kids, have some fun and support World Vision, Make A Wish Foundation, McGuinness McDermott Foundation and Hallifax Street Children’s Centre and Preschool.

Cabaret, circus, comedy, music and kids shows – you’ll find something to tickle everyone’s taste buds at The Garden of Unearthly Delights.
