An evening of complete and utter Popfrenzy debauchery, aptly dubbed Pop-Friendzzzy! San Franciscan alt-rock foursome Sonny & The Sunsets and Kiwi lo-fi pop stars Surf City will be headlining this rock'n'roll extravaganza, taking place at GoodGod Small Club on Thursday, November 21.
Venturing into notions of death, the afterworld and cosmology, Antenna To The Afterworld presents Sonny & The Sunsets' most complex album to date, filled with new-wave synths and rollicking post-punk beats.
Surf City’s forthcoming album 'We Knew It Was Not Going To Be Like This' continues their love affair with psychedelic, reverb-swathed guitar pop. However, this time round the songwriting is stronger, the tunes are hookier and the sound is even more lush.
The night will also feature a very special performance from Community Radio, along with a set from post-punk trio Adults.
