The popular annual ocean swim will take place on 17 February 2013 as a key fund raising event for the Rainbow Club, a registered non-profit charity that provides swimming and recreational activities for children with disabilities.

Now in its fifth year, the popular swim is part of the Fine Ocean Swimmers Series 2013. Renamed in honour of former patron, the late Olympic great Murray Rose, the family friendly event has won praise from the passionate ocean swim community and has continued to rise in popularity since its inception in 2009.

Participants will be able to choose between a 1km swim or the 2.4km swim, or a combination entry in both swims. The start and finish is on Malabar Beach.
