It’s a petting zoo, but not as you know it!
An interactive dinosaur puppet show for the whole family. Get up close and personal with prehistoric creatures that once roamed free across the ancient lands of Terra Australis.
Come eye to eye with an amazing array of mostly friendly, life-like creatures from cute baby dinosaurs to the teeth-gnashing ferocity of the Australovenator. Feed, pet and interact with them in a once-in-a-lifetime imaginative experience.
Families experience an amazing selection of dinosaurs and creatures that inhabited the landscape millions of years ago.
Children will have the opportunity to help feed, water and care for these prehistoric marvels with simple lessons in animal husbandry.
An awesome menagerie of insects, mammals and dinosaurs will come to life on the Melbourne Street Green in a unique, fun and educational performance that will thrill and delight children of all ages.
The technical brilliance of Erth's enchanting Dinosaur Petting Zoo returns to QPAC after sell-out performances at Out of the Box 2012.
Join us for an unforgettable experience that will take audiences on an informative journey through Australia’s prehistoric natural history.
Suitable for ages 5 and up. Children under 3 years are free on the knee.
Please note: A variety of seating will be provided including cushions and mats on the ground to allow children a close up view of the dinosaurs in action. Rostra and chairs will make up the remainder of the seating.
In the event of inclement weather, outdoor performances may be cancelled. Patrons may exchange tickets to the cancelled event for an equivalent available performance to be determined on the day. Refunds will be given only in the last instance if exchange is not agreeable or possible.
