The wonderful John Vella and his band will be opening this double EP launch as they play songs from his new EP 'Here/Now', with music that has been likened to John Mayer, Coldplay and Bob Dylan. In July 2010 John gained great exposure when he supported multi-platinum Aussie rock band Thirsty Merc. John Vella's music will calm your nerves before The Conscious Pilots take you flying!

Launching their EP 'Flight Path' The Conscious Pilots are Sydney's only Aviational/Jazz/Hip Hop band. Their dance inspiring tunes fuse together a dash of Australian hip hop, a dabble of swing, a sprinkle of latin and a twinkle of flamenco, that when played by an 8 piece band all decked out in spunky pilot uniforms, promises an unforgettable ride.

The band consists of some of Sydney's finest musicians with each member bringing to the crew their own unique talents and a musical C.V. that belies their easy charm. With all members having travelled nationally and internationally with various bands and artists The Conscious Pilots have had more than enough experience on the road and in the air and bring their musical knowledge and experience together to create a fresh new sound. Alongside their highly qualified musical abilities, their presence on stage is one to be reckoned with. Their energy is contagious and will have you on your feet and dancing in no time.
