Aphex Twin, the mysterious ambient mastermind of ‘Windowlicker’ fame, who notoriously shuns the spotlight, is playing two extremely special and rare sideshows as part of the Future Music Festival Tour.

Not seen on Australian shores since 2004, his long awaited reappearance is highly anticipated and his live show needs to be seen to be believed. With limited performances at only the world’s top festivals, this is a once in a lifetime chance to see his live show in all its glory.

Arguably one of the most influential electronic artist in the history of contemporary dance music, Aphex Twin (AKA Richard David James) has been twisting minds and taking dancefloors on epic ‘braindance’ journeys since the release of his debut EP 'Analogue Bubblebath’ back in 1991.

Making use of a whopping 14 monikers during his career, as Aphex Twin he is best known and loved for his groundbreaking albums ‘Selected Ambient Works 85-92’, ‘Selected Ambient Works Volume 2’, ‘...I Care Because You Do’, ‘Richard D. James Album’ and ‘Druqks’), and iconic tunes like ‘Come To Daddy’, and ‘Windowlicker’.

Renowned for trawling the sweetest sounds from a range of genres – including ambient, acid, breakbeat, techno and noise - and mixing them up to set the world on fire, this veritable genius is a true master, in every sense of the word.

Aphex Twin will be supported by Mark Pritchard (Harmonic 313) on these two very special dates.
