Adelaide City Council’s New Year’s Eve event promises a great night of entertainment and fireworks. Elder Park will come alive to an eclectic musical line-up sure to please all tastes and ages.
The historic Rotunda will provide the focal point for live entertainment commencing with indie-pop band the Hurricanes. The Bearded Gypsy Band and ShortStax will continue the entertainment, followed by four-piece The Bakers Digest with their folk n'roll revival. The blues of The Hushes will be up next; with The Transatlantics filling the last hour of 2012 with soul, funk and R&B.
The night sky will light up with two rounds of spectacular fireworks designed by award-winning Foti International Fireworks. Multi-talented composer and performer DJ Tr!p will match the fireworks displays with a soundtrack mixed especially for the night. The fireworks are scheduled for 9pm and 12 midnight.
Beverages will be available for purchase in the New Year’s Eve beer garden. Strictly no BYO alcohol at the event.
