Sydney Harbour Cruise.
Its time to dust off the suspenders, checkered belts and pork pie hats because the SKA WEEKENDER FESTIVAL is back in 2011, bigger, better and more badass than anyone thought was possible. This year the SKA WEEKENDER will hit the road and span three states over one massive weekend. Heading from Adelaide to Melbourne then finally winding up in Sydney with the hugely victorious Harbour Boat Cruise that ended in shenanigans in 2010.
This year Adelaides skank-inducing Son of Dad will be packing up the van and travelling to all three stops and joining them will be Melbourne natives, The Bennies who will be causing confined riots with tunes from their brand-spanking new album, Party! Party! Party!
Support in each town will be coming from the likes of Australian ska staples The Kujo Kings, Hightime, The Resignators, Loonee Tunes, Irie Knights, Mnage-a-Ska, Finger Cuffs, The Gogo-a-Rama, The Tabasco Junkies, Ebolagoldfish & The Kamikazi Thundercats.
The Sydney Harbour Boat cruise will take in the beautiful sights of Sydney and the one off sounds of bands covering some of the most influential ska music known to human kind. The weekend will finish with the Harbour Cruise after party at the Landsdowne Hotel including party punks Chris Duke & The Royals, Hightime and The Kamikaze Thundercats.
Sydney Cruise leaves from Pyrmont Bay Wharf (Near Maritime Museum and Star City Casino)
Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, Sydney NSW
Doors open 1.30pm and boat departs at 2pm
