Portside wharf lights up the sky for new years!

Portside Wharf will be one of the hottest spots in Brisbane to bring in the New Year, with two fireworks shows to light up the sky over the trendy riverfront precinct as party-goers count down to 2012.

The fireworks will go off at 9pm and again at midnight on December 31, lighting up the Brisbane River at Hamilton, with a free shuttle bus to run to the Valley from 12.30am for those who want to keep the party going.

Restaurants and function venues across the precinct are also going all out with a huge array of themed parties, special dinners and live entertainment, to ensure you count down to the New Year in true Portside Wharf-style.
